Fruits and vegetables reduce the possibility of abortion
Daily consumption of fruit and vegetables halves the likelihood of abortion, shows new researches. The study of thousands of pregnant women showed that those who are in daily eating regularly include fruits and vegetables, reduced risk of miscarriage by 46 percent.
Chocolate, vitamins, dairy products, fish and white meat also increased the possibility of a successful pregnancy. Malnutrition women had 70 percent more of the potential for miscarriage.
Researchers with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine said that their findings highlight the importance of good and healthy diet during pregnancy.
The study looked at 7,000 women, the links between diet and lifestyle, and abortion. One of the most important factors was the consumption of fruit and vegetables, as in those days to eat food, the likelihood of abortion decreased by 50 percent, than those who did not regularly practice.
Vitamin tablets have also been shown to be very useful in reducing the risk of abortion. Nutrition of dairy products such as milk, yogurt and cheese, reduce the risk by half, while the twice weekly food of white meat or fish decreased the risk by 15 percent.
Those who eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, have better nutrition, which means that their bodies are better prepared for pregnancy. Malnutrition women probably do not eat enough and are therefore more prone to abortion.
There is also a smaller increase in abortions for women whose partners are older than 45 years. This added to the assumption that men and women have a biological clock and the quality of sperm deteriorates over the years.
